Week 5 Assignment: Final Project Overview In this assignment, you will create a multimedia presentation about your present school/district technology plan. Your multimedia presentation can be a Powerpoint (with narration and music) or a video with slides (can use a 3rd party tool, such as Camtasia.) This presentation should be narrated by you and can include background music if desired. Be sure to incorporate all the aspects and best practices about information systems and technology use that you have learned throughout this course and your previous courses. This is your final course project. This assignment should be a rich and extensive display of your depth of knowledge in this field and worthy of 100 points.

 

Once you’ve read or viewed each Web link, create a multimedia presentation about your present school/district technology plan, using the following parameters:

 

• Your multimedia presentation can be a PowerPoint (with narration and music).
• This presentation should be narrated by you and can include background music if desired.
• Be sure to incorporate all the aspects and best practices about information  systems and technology use that you have learned throughout this course and your previous courses.
• Make sure you use the tenets of the present national, state, district, and school technology plans, yet incorporate the pillars of the new national technology.
• Include elements that you would add or improve upon in your technology plan.    Cite all information resources in-text and at the conclusion of your presentation as a resource slide. Use APA documentation for in-text citations and for the bibliographic citations in the references on the resource slide.
• This presentation should be of the caliber and of such high quality content that it is worthy of presentation to a school board or school committee.
